In this two-part video, I demonstrate how to animate a basic bouncing ball using a ball rig in Autodesk Maya 2020. This is one of the essential animation exercises that use several principles of animation. I cover some initial settings for animation and use the Editable Motion Trail in Maya to visualize the path of action for the motion. The ball rig I used in this tutorial is the Ultimate Ball 1.0.1 for Maya by Ugur Ulvi Yetiskin, check out his other rigs on Behance.
